Album Info:Union Pacific Railroad's historic steam locomotive, No. 844, will be on a 35-day, 10-state tour to celebrate the railroads history and heritage. We chased the train from Hope-North Little Rock, AR and viewed it on public display. We also toured the North Little Rock, AR Yard and the Downing B. Jenks Shops Facilites, where CNW 8701 was being worked on. We caught the train in Hope, 2 Miles South of Arkadelphia, Arkadelphia, The Ouachita River Bridge North of Arkadelphia, Malvern, and North Little Rock, AR, it was a very successful trip and we caught the train many more times than we thought we would! A special thanks to my dad for taking me, and UP and the UP Steam Crew for bringing it.
